Jn 3:16, 6:44-45, 8:24; Rom 10:14,17; Acts16:31
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that he [even] gave up his only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) him shall not perish(come to destruction, be lost)but have eternal(everlasting)life.
We must first recognize we have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. We should look deep into ourselves and see that our sins come of both “feelings” and “attitudes” as well through “words” and “deeds”. Jesus Christ ,”who had no sin” (2 Corinthians 5:21), sacrificed himself for us, and intercedes with the Father for our sins …These sins, now recognized look to an understanding of Faith “a gift from God”. Faith requires doctrine (intellectual belief), and a personal relationship with God (an emotional experience), we are raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, (so that) we too may live a new life” (Romans 6:4).
Faith in Christ opens the flow of grace that enables us to believe, makes possible our fellowship with God; and our obedience to his know will, so that we can not be acceptable in his sight when he returns;…Matt.5:45.
Luke 13:1-5; Acts 2:38,3:19,11:18,17:30;2 Cor 7:10
And Jesus said,”I tell you, but unless you repent, you will all persih.”
Repentance is feeling conviction and sorrow for our sins. Ezekiel 18:30-32 states that as we repent we will have a new heart and new spirit. Repentance is based on our awareness of the awfulness of sin. Repenting is turning away from sin as a result of godly sorrow.
Mat.10:32-33; Luk 9:26; Acts 8:36-37; Rom 10:9-10
Jesus said,” Everyone therefore who shall confess me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven.”
In confession we have access to God the Father through Jesus his Son:” For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”; (1 Tim. 2:5); and this confession is made possible by the power of the Holy Spirit who brings to mind now our known sins. James 5:16 teaches us to “confess our sins to each other”. Confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved…” (Romans 10:9-10).
This is the beginning of your new relationship with the God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit (Conversion).
Jhn 1:13,3:6-7;Ephesians 2:1;1Peter 1:23;Titus3:5
…not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit,…
To be born again is a new birth that is a spiritual, holy, and heavenly birth signified by a being made alive in a spiritual sense. Man in his natural state is “dead in trespasses and sins” until we are “made alive” (regenerated) by Christ when we place our faith in Him (Ephesians 2:1). After regeneration, we begin to see, and hear, and seek after divine things, and to live a life of faith and holiness.
Regeneration is part of the “salvation package”. Being born again or born from above is parallel to regeneration (John 3:6-7; Ephesians 2:1; 1 Peter 1:23; John 1:13; 1 John 3:9; 4:7; 5:1, 4, 18). Simply put, regeneration is God making a person spiritually alive, a new creation, as a result of faith in Jesus Christ. The result of regeneration is peace with God (Romans 5:1), new life (Titus 3:5; 2 Corinthians 5:17), and eternal worship (John 1:12-13; Galatians 3:26). This regeneration is eternal and begins the process of sanctification wherein we become the people God intended for us to be (Romans 8:28-30).
By believing, trusting, and obeying his Word, God gives us a new life. Praise God, Satan can’t take this away from us. We our now God’s children and he loves us unconditionally.
Hebrews 10:22;Rom 6:4;Galations 5:22-23,Rev 12:11
…Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. Rev 2:10
Being transformed we must now be faithful to God and our personal walk with him,” let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.” (Hebrews 10:22). Depending on our personalities, previous experiences of grace, and cultural factors our walk with God will be one of an individual experience. In God’s eyes we are just as babies unto him and he will teach us accordingly. As we grow in Grace and our lives are changed so will we mature in the Spirit. God will walk with us daily through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. God loved us enough that he gave his most precious possession,” his son” that we may walk with him for eternity. Come take this wonderful journey with us at Freedom Ministries and hear,” Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant”. Praise God!!
